Battery warranty

Last updated: 16 June 2026.

Thank you for choosing Raya Energy and our trusted battery brands — ZITEX, RESTART, and our other product lines. We appreciate your trust, and we stand behind every battery we make. This page summarizes the limited warranty that covers ZITEX batteries.

Coverage and duration

Every ZITEX battery carries a limited warranty against manufacturing defects:

  • Standard, Premium, AGM and Deep Cycle batteries — 24-month limited warranty.
  • Heavy Duty / Commercial batteries — 12-month limited warranty.

The warranty period runs from the date of purchase and covers manufacturing defects only. Each battery is eligible for warranty replacement once (see Warranty status below).

Commercial, industrial and seasonal use

For commercial, industrial, or seasonal applications, the free-replacement period is reduced by 50% of the standard warranty period. For example, a 24-month battery placed in commercial service carries a 12-month free-replacement period.

What the warranty does not cover

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not apply to damage or failure caused by:

  • improper or incorrect installation
  • incorrect charging
  • misuse or abuse
  • physical damage
  • fire
  • extreme temperatures
  • chemical contamination
  • unconventional applications (uses the battery was not designed for)

Warranty status

Each ZITEX battery carries a warranty label. When its warranty is checked, the battery will show one of three statuses:

  • Active — the warranty is currently valid. The battery is covered until the expiry date shown.
  • Claimed — the warranty has already been used. Each battery is eligible for warranty replacement only once.
  • Void — the warranty label has been damaged, altered, or cannot be properly scanned. In such cases, the final decision on warranty eligibility rests with Raya Energy or an authorized Raya Energy representative.

Making a claim

To make a warranty claim, contact the Raya Energy distributor where you purchased the battery, or reach us directly. Keep your proof of purchase and leave the battery's warranty label intact — an unreadable or altered label can void the warranty.
