Privacy policy

We collect the minimum personal information needed to provide product information and respond to distributor or quote inquiries. We don't sell data. We don't track you across other websites. Cookies are used for analytics (anonymized) and to make the site work. You can email privacy@raya-energy.com to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you.

• Form submissions. Name, business name, email, phone, and whatever message you include when you fill in the distributor-application, quote-request, or contact forms.
• Analytics.Pages viewed, approximate location (country / region — not your street address), browser type, referrer. Anonymized; we can't identify you from this.
• Email correspondence. If you email us, we retain the thread.

We do notcollect: payment information (the site has no checkout), passwords (no accounts), location precise enough to map you, biometric data, or anything we don't need to fulfil the purpose you contacted us for.

• Respond to your inquiry, route it to the right person internally, follow up on the specific topic you raised.
• Aggregate analytics to understand which content is useful, where we should expand catalog coverage, which Canadian markets are reached.
• Detect and respond to abuse, fraud, or technical issues.

We use a small number of established third-party processors to operate the site. They access only the data needed to perform their function, under contract:

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, web analytics (anonymized, no per-visitor tracking).
• Resend — transactional email delivery for the forms above.
• Hostinger — the WordPress CMS that publishes news/article content (no user data flows through it).

We don't sell or rent personal information. Full stop.

Form submissions: until the inquiry is closed plus seven years (Canadian commercial records retention norm). Email correspondence: same. Analytics: 26 months (Cloudflare default). You can ask us to delete sooner — see below.

Under PIPEDA (Canada's federal privacy law) and applicable provincial laws (Quebec's Law 25 in particular), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccuracies
• Request deletion (subject to legitimate retention obligations)
• Withdraw consent for marketing follow-up
• Request portability of your data in a structured format (Law 25)
• File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you reside in Quebec

We use cookies only to (a) make the site work (locale preference, session state) and (b) collect anonymized analytics. We don't use cross-site tracking pixels and don't share data with ad networks. See the cookie policy for the specific list.

We'll post material changes here with an updated “Last updated” date and notify anyone who's explicitly subscribed to legal updates. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
