Accessibility statement

Raya Energy aims to make raya-energy.com usable by everyone — including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, screen magnifiers, or high-contrast modes. Our standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C and referenced by Ontario's AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act).

• Automated tooling: axe-core, Lighthouse accessibility audit run in CI on every build. Failures block deployment.
• Manual testing: keyboard-only navigation through every page template, screen-reader spot-checks with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS), high-contrast and large-text rendering at 200%+ zoom.
• External audit: third-party WCAG audit scheduled before public launch.

We'll keep this list current as audit findings come in. The known-known issues today:

• Decorative animation: the homepage hero and some catalog cards use subtle motion effects. Visitors who set theprefers-reduced-motionmedia query have these animations disabled automatically.
• Form labels: all form inputs (fitment finder, and future contact / quote-request / distributor-application forms) have explicit labels or aria-labels.
• Colour contrast: Text-on-dark backgrounds meet WCAG AA 4.5:1 contrast ratio at base font size. We periodically re-verify with every brand-palette change.

The site is tested on current versions of:

• Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari (desktop + mobile)
• NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack screen readers
• Keyboard navigation throughout (no mouse required)
